Feels sluggish - or is it my imagination?

2006 Evo IX. 75K miles. MBC running around 23 psi, what looks like an Ebay exhaust, no cat, Ebay LICP. Conservative tune. Otherwise stock.

The last few days my car has seemed a bit sluggish, almost like the brakes were dragging just a tiny bit. Also, it seems to be vibrating more when I am slowing down or stopped at a light. Sometimes idles lower than it used to.

Not showing a CEL, engine temp reads normal, oil level normal. The only thing I have done with it recently was change the tranny fluid (Redline 75W/90).

If there is a difference, it is small enough that I wonder whether it is just my imagination or my mind playing tricks on me. Still, is there anything I can check?

I suppose I could start by looking at the plugs, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Lol jk... Got logging equipment? I see you have a "conservative" tune, I'll assume you have a tuner.. Hit him up and pull some logs. We can tell you something, if you provide information/ logs, not opinions/ mind games

Boost leak? The only way you'd have your brakes dragging is if you had a seized caliper piston..
Has it been really hot around you recently? When it gets warmer out turbo cars seem to feel a tad sluggish. More than likely you're just getting used to the power.

Has been hot around here, so that may be it. I don't think "it" (if "it" exists) is a boost leak as it seems to occur at low speed/rpms/load.

Typically peak boost hits around 3000-3250rpm so if it were to leak that's where it would be from. There's a thread around here that tells you how to make a tester for just over $5

I did some searching.. here ya go bud. I would recommend doing one of these tests.

My tuner friend has one. I just wanted some suggestions before I start harassing him.

Try logging Air Temp. Timing should go down with high/low air temps.
