@kikiturbo hey, that looks like that should do it. any of these for sale yet? no need to drop the tank to install I hope

will that transfer pump be fine if/when its fuel starved turning the other way? was thinking of using a low pressure fuel pump for carbs but the reliable ones are quiet noisy that might not be a bad feature since I would only turn it on on track
isnt there no way to block the fuel sloshing at the hump with some foam? (no idea what it looks like in there)

Those don't need heat shrinked, they need to be rebuilt. The braid should be inside the fitting nut. Possible you used incompatible hose/fittings and you may different hose or different fittings.

he got too impatient you need to tuck/shove the cover under the fitting with a screwdriver before twisting it

The transfer pump has a small float switch that turns it off when the bowl is out of fuel so that the transfer pump is not running dry. IT is the black round thing with some wires in the pic.. The pumps I am using are some low current, low pressure and real silent lift pumps... it is actually pumping diesel in that simulation video above. Also, the way I did it, it has to run all the time, as my system is not using the OE venturi anymore... one of benefits of that is that fuel pressure remains stable when running big main fuel pumps.. The kit was intended to be plug and play with additional fuel pump relays and can be installed with a minimal drop of the tank (mainly to get rid of OE wiring there and add the new transfer hose. I got all the homework done, even got the proper high current sealed bulkhead connectors for fuel tanks.... Unfortunately my life is too complex in the past years so don't really have time to get it produced in quantity.. If anyone wants to build some I can assist with plans and parts list..

Cant stop the fuel sloshing because you cant really access the inside of the tank.. both openings where fuel pump and secondary pickup sit, are enclosed with a small "bowl" inside the tank.. so cant really put any foam inside...

I did use RaceFlux fittings on Vibrant hose so you are probably right about that because the 8AN above the 10AN that is my rail return to the surge tank is RaceFlux fittings and hose which went together effortlessly in comparison to the vibrant hose. I will just get a little extra when I build out my feed and return lines on the rail end to redo those 2 lines.

No more frayed Vibrant hose. Found adapters to be able to use the fuel pump manifold which are on their way. So now from the pump manifold is a 6micron radium filter then there will be a 90* then the 90* at the bulkhead. Way cleaner configuration now.

@nightowl1985 @kikiturbo would it work if I have fittings right on the drain plugs and use a transfer pump ? I have an extra inline low pressure fuel pump from my carbureted car
I actually have the fittings already installed ... its lame since its too slow to drain

If you are after eliminating fuel starvation surge tank is the best way because its constant overflowing and returning back to the tank so the pump or pumps supplying the fuel rail is always submerged in fuel.

are your pumps pulling from the top of the surge tank?

For external pumps there is a aluminum pipe that goes to the bottom of the surge tank and the overflow return to tank is off the lid.

I have a Bulletproof Racing fuel hanger with a single 450 as a lift pump. I also don't have any factory fuel lines.

You're welcome, yeah my whole fuel system is completely custom from the fuel rail to surge tank to fuel tank.
