help drove through a puddle n think i drown it

ok here is the full story was out playing in the rain (N HOLLY CRAP WAS IT RAINING) n what i though to be just a normal intersection had some water on it didnt realize they had been doing something and had a 9 - 11 in deep section cut into the road n bam guys cuts me off n i get stuck smack dab in the middle of it not to mention that my intake is only like 4-5 inches off thee ground so naturally sucked water in i no pulled the fuel pump relay and spark plugs and hit the starter button (dont like to turn a key i am lazy) until no water was spitting out of the cylinders put everything back together and hit the button again didnt really want to start but when it did it will idle but as soon as you put any kind of load on it it just starts popping gagging and dies throws a system too rich bank one code dont remember the number just wanna know what everyone else thinks is making her not run or if i just need to lets it dry out mor this happened prob 14-16 hours ago any advice will be kindly appreciated

Let it idle and get up to temp. Listen for knock sounds. If no water came out when you turned it over with the plugs out, that's good. However if it did suck some water threw the engine that would be bad. Do a compression test to find out if something bad happoned.

Why would anyone want to mod the intake to be 4-5" off the ground?

ah i remember when this fun time happened with my WRX. be very careful for knocks, i let mine sit for a couple hot days, not sure if it actually helped, more of just terrified to try and start it. Its now been... 30K miles since, and no problems at all.
only thing it ended up damaging was the IACV, sorta rusted the valve not letting it idle properly. Couple videos of just sucking it up and working on it:

last one is the IACV, just took it apart, worked it till it moved properly, replaced the gasket, and wallah!

Do you have a MAF? or SD? I had this happen one night on a flooded road (about 2 feet of water ) and the water contaminated my MAF.

If water did get into the MAF, you will need to replace it.

ok got it home n plugged into code reader n what no n its throwing codes

p0113 intake air temp sensor circuit hi input
p0102 maf / vaf circuit low input
p0107 manifold absolute pressure circuit low input
p0172 system too rich bank 1

and code reader data stream says its calculating no load and my maf stays at 0 lb/m so i am thinking i cooked a maf sensor but it runz no smoke no knock n will idle all day long until u hit the gas pedal and put any kind of load or tyr to make boost on it

Based on the codes above, it toasted the MAF.

Im sure theres one you can find in the for sale forums on here.

p0107 manifold absolute pressure circuit low input- This may be directly related to it running poorly.

I would replace the MAF and go from there.

Also, remove your intercooler and make sure that there is no water in it as well as the piping and intake.

Happened to me a few months ago In my rsx. Drove through water and it shut off. Had a cold air intake and sucked in water. I changed the oil( oil had a ton of water in it) and I replaced the spark plugs). Took off the intake and didn't drive or start it for a week. Prayed and started right up. Had some smoke coming from exhaust for about 2 min then everything was ok,
