I recently had my clutch changed. Before it would make a lot of noise when let off gas especially above 3k rpms.now after new clutch and re surfaced fly. My car is making alot of chatter at idle but it goes away when I press clutch pedal. Brought it back to shop and they are telling me a bearing in my tranny is going. Nothing with clutch. Are they bsing me? Is it the tob? Help please.

 

Probably an Input shaft bearing.

I did a trans for a member here and that's what his was after a clutch was put in by another shop. They thought it was the TOB too.....

 

How many miles did the car have ? I don't see how it went bad after only 60k miles.
