That is good...
Are you running a dual catch can system and PCV valve? You need to You can block off the manifold/PCV valve as long as you run the second line to the turbo inlet as well as the front line going to the turbo inlet. You need to run the biggest lines you can to the turbo to pull as much vacuum as possible under load.

Check the turbo seals as well.

Were the piston cooling squirters installed?

Check out driv200 thread in the motorsports section about the MAP 2.4 block he runs on track about 500 whp....he was working on a fix for the exact issue you have

However I'll do you a favor and link you to the thread I posted here on EvoM a few years ago regarding the same subject-

Keep pourin' that liquid gold, kid.
Thanks for the data. This is what I wanted to see. I also gave an example of how an oil swap reduced oil consumption, it just happened to contradict what you said. I'm sorry you couldn't handle that like an adult.

Just for reference, I do not use Motul any longer, and never have on my Evo. But since I get it at cost, it's about the same as Mobil1 would be for someone who buys it at a place like NAPA.

You seem like an angry guy. I'd recommend staying on that couch and having a beer. No need to get worked up on the internet. I was just hoping you could provide some proof on the subject, and I'm glad you did. Asking for data and analysis doesn't make one clueless. It simply means I'd like to learn about what you are talking about. Sorry it made you insecure and defensive. It wasn't my intent.

Perhaps I'll send off a sample of a Motul change to Blackstone sometime, and we can compare notes

Thast car was almost stock and running stock system. Just for experiment both nipples on the valve cover were left open to atmosphere.

Turbo is almost new, seals checked twice, no leaks.

Oil squirters installed.

I am about to switch that engine to a cheap semi-synthetic oil for a couple thousands miles. Just to watch the consumption and may be that will help rings to bed in and seal better. What do you guys think about that?

Another thread i came across was pointing to the valve seals as being inadequate under throttle closure at high rpms with the 2.3 and 2.4 stroker engines . apparently the higher vacuum of the strokers allows oil to be pulled past the seals more easily into the chambers under those conditions . Might be worth pulling the intake manifold to see if there signs of pulling oil past the seals and thru the guides.

Andy's car ( Driv200) is a full-on MAP 2.4 block fully built internals so no it is not stock at all.

But he does have the same issue as you....high oil consumption on track like 1/2 to 1 quart oil in one track day...

I've had two engines with excessive oil consumption, no luck with Evo's, no leaks, changed turbos, oil was still being burned, my guess is you're just burning it, it can't just magically disappear. Check your plugs see how they look.

1st Engine - 1/2qt every 150-200 miles
2nd Engine - 1/2qt every 100-150 miles / 3qts in 900 miles

Until the 2nd engine finally spun a rod bearing at the track day, oil level was fine.

Forgot to mention, that the car wasn't smoking much either. During start and idle, there was no valve seal leak type of smoking and during boost puff of black and nothing much else, sometimes you could spot blue during vac to boost transition.

I believe that all these engines are burning oil in really small quanities, but with every stroke. The root of the problem may be in oil control rings, - rails or expander.
