Evo 4 to 8 swap: no fuel/no ac fan

Swapped a VIII engine and ECU into my IV. Made a conversion harness for the ECU with an extension harness.

Swapped Pin 8 and 22.
Connected Vehicle Pin 20 to ECU Pin 32 for AC Fan High
Connected Vehicle Pin 21 to ECU Pin 34 for AC Fan Low
Disconnected Pin 87
Disabled the immobilizer

I have no fuel pressure and my blower motor does not work. I just double and triple checked my wiring and it is correct, but with the problems I'm having, everything is pointing to a wiring issue. All my fuses are good.

Any tips or advice?

Edit : Hooked up the VI ECU that was on it before and it started.

The problem would seem to be with 8 and 22. Check that you swapped the right pins. If it started with the 6 ECU after you did the pin swap then you swapped the wrong pins. You can verify the fuel pump wire by pulling the pin, turning on the ignition and manually grounding the wire and see if thre pump runs.

Has anyone else run into issues with USDM computers not working with EUDM engines?

JDM vehicle
EUDM engine
USDM computer
and they don't want to work together.

Its like world war 3 in my evo

Yes, I've played with an RS2 and pins 8 and 22 are like the US Evo 8. They also come with an immobilizer too.

It will always work once you have the pins correctly located. Firstly the engine doesn't matter. With regards to the ECU and the vehicle, I've done about 10 USDM ECUs into Evo IVs. As I said before just confirm which pin is which and put them in the right places.

I've had to switch them on every one I have done. If you use a 7 ecu you don't have to switch them however.
