Jacks indestructible TCASE?

Have anyone used it or have experiences with it?

Just got the whine on my tcase, and looking to upgrade to a good solution.

By Jack's you mean Jack's transmissions? I've done business with them 3x now most recently rebuilding my tranny.

My T-case was built by them in 2008 and have not had a problem since still running in the same one. Tranny holds up good too.

Just had the service done on my t-case couple months ago. Great guys, had to have mine rebuilt because my tcase exploded and punched a few holes into my case and they repaired that free of charge and you can't even tell it was damaged ( I have a sneaking suspicion they just used one of their own cases but doesn't bother me any because I wasn't charged any extra). But I put it in put about 200 miles break in time on it then drove it all the way from Washington to Alaska which was about 2300 miles all said and done. I had absolutely no problems with the t-case and its still running like a champ a month later. There is a slight amount of gear whine but its not due to any damaged parts just how the wavetrac runs ( got one in the rear end of my truck and that one is even louder and I've had that installed for 2 years now with no problems). And that's not to say that it is unbearably loud, I was just a little afraid because I had a brand new engine and t-case in the car and hadn't put too many break-in mileage on the car so I drove for a long time with the radio off and obsessing over every noise. On top of that I drove straight thru only stopping for gas so the t-case didn't have time to cool, so if it didn't fail under that abuse I'm sure it is fairly indestructible. All in all I have nothing but good things to say about the t-case, If you have the money and need to rebuild it anyways I would definitely recommend the rebuild.

I gotten my rebuild by them a little while back after dealing with different shops that leaves you with nothing but broken promises. Jacks transmissions does not disappoint and I definitely recommend them compared to the rest with excellent workmanship and quality service.

Never heard of an indestructible TCase. What do they do to obtain such status? LOL

Mine cost about 2500 all said and done but what they quote u on their site is exactly what you pay depending on if you send in your own case or use theirs then send in yours after. And as for what they do its all on their site but basics are upgrade the bolts to 10mm hardened ring and pinion install wavetrac dif and machine work to their tolerances for the bearings but like I said check um out specifics are on their site.

Ok so dumb question, but is there really much of a benefit to increasing the bolt size of the case? Wouldn't making the bolt holes larger just mean less surface area, which doesn't seem to be a whole lot on some of those bolts on the case as it is?
Im not knocking it, Im just trying to understand this a bit better. I would think something like having a case made out of better metallurgy than the horrible quality mitsu seemed to produce would be more beneficial, although a lot more costly.

I was wondering about the bolt size mod too. Is it to stop the cases cracking (bolts letting go first then the case going with it)? How does it work?
