Check downpipe fitment: +acd + cat delete

The dc sports downpipe is the only one I saw that was built with a cat delete and for Evo with acd. This was looking through online vendors. It's also 219 dollars, is the fitment good on this piece? I dont want to deal with extra gaskets when possible(extended length) and my buschur racing downpipe has me throwing tools from the damned leak.

Also in the description on some websites it says acd equipped vehicles require modification

I've read a bunch of reviews, and does this piece use a donut gasket or flat flange?

Does it fit the Megan o2 leak free?

Is there a comparable product?

Uses a donut gasket, will fit with the megan perfectly. I have used them and really like them as they are nice and light too. Unfortunately they don't always fit that well on ACD cars, if it clears it's usually tight. BFH massaging usually required.

I didn't see the donut surface machined in online pictures, does it use a flat to donut seal? What is the best donut gasket to buy

The stock gasket fits perfectly fine. Buschur is the only sh*t that doesn't use it for whatever stupid reason.

Thanks! I'm gonna be ordering one soon, I've been dealing with all sorts of hiccups that im rectifying.

Pcv, maf-bov recirc (prev on sd) exhaust leak. This stuff adds up when you're self tuning chasing quirks .

Is another 2 gaskets and a cat delete that much trouble? Gives you the option of running one (a cat) if you ever decide to. With the power difference between a good 100cell (milspec) and straight pipe, I'd always run the cat, unless you think it will melt with ALS.

CBRD vband dump and front fits up to ACD cars just fine. I had the front pipe modified to clear HKS Kansai underbracing and it tucks up underneath perfectly now. Spacing stock bracing with a couple washers used to work fine though.

A 219 dollar piece that eliminates an extra gasket, plus the need for a test pipe is a win win in my book. I don't require a cat.

Gaskets seem to go, I need a new downpipe and the cbrd unit is more expensive than the map unit I was looking at. ~650 dollars vs 800 I think I saw in a thread. I already welded an extension to my br dp eliminating the use for a bolt in or gasket test pipe, it's the o2 to dp junction that is not reliable.

On the CBRD piece the o2 to downpipe join is a 3" vband. I don't see that being unreliable.

But if it doesn't suit your criteria regarding price fair enough. Just letting you know it fits.

I wasn't referring to that. Just the br downpipe with its amazing gasketless set up lol.

Honestly I wish I could spring for the map or cbrd piece. Just doesn't make sense for the extra cost at this point. My Megan o2 will suffice.( I'm on a stock turbine + compressor upgrade)
