I know this subjects been beat to death but i need some more opinions on whats going on. I recently had a thread here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/showthread.php?t=600602&highlight=mini+battery , and have realized the condtion had nothing to do with me switching to the mini battery. Still slow spooling and cutting ouy under a load, fuel cut. Setting p0234 wastegate malfunction, overboost. Car is not even over 16 psi on gauge. Ive done several boost checks, fixed a couple ic pipe clamps, but i still feel like there is a leak somewhere. Pump to 25 psi,No audible leaks, slowly drops about 1 psi every 3 seconds..is that too much? Maybe i have a bad maf? bad stock bcs somehow?(still plugged in) took to mitsu and they could duplicate but not figure it out. Today got some time to take a freeze frame reading from the scanner i had. P0234. Spark advance-2 degrees. Veh speed-59 mph. Iat-86 degrees. Ect-179. Calculated load-100%. Stft-0, Ltft-0. Tps-100%. Map-36.3. Maf lbs/min- 38.358.

 

Have you ever considered installing an S.B.C. motor?

 

check your j-pipe going to your turbo. I had a similar problem. Boosting to 15-17lbs and fuel cut. I checked my j-pipe to find that the turbo side of the flange was bent and the gasket had blown causing me a major leak. GL

 

Maybe wastegate isnt working right?
