Ok so I just got a competition clutch stage 3 put in my 05 evo. And I have notice when you turn the ac on and the car is idling it wants to die. The Rpms go to about 300. I trying calling the shop I had install it but there phones are down. What do you guys think is causing it and what will fix it.

 

Blue wire to the compressor is broken off.

 

I have a feeling its not the A/C but something in the wiring.
Did they unplug the battery when they worked on the vehicle?
Check your battery terminals and your grounding wires to the transmission
and the one to the chassis.

 

I am guessing they did unhook the battery. I just started the car and it seems fine so There is a short somewhere now I just have to find it. Also if this helps it will sometime blow air when the knob is on zero when you first start driving.
