Stupid IC sprayer question

Just yesterday I had an issue where I stalled my car while it was still moving (damn BOV). Well I noticed that when I restarted it, there was a loud humming sound that continually go louder. When I pulled over I realised that it was my IC sprayer. WTF? I didn't turn it on, and why is it just spraying without stopping? Turned the car off for about 5 min. and it was gone.

Then this afternoon it happened again (damn BOV). Again, took 5 min. of turning the ignition off and on before it went away.

Then this evening, I decided to press the Manual side of the button to see what would happen. Sure enough, the stupid thing stayed on. The pitch in the humming has gotten higher and louder. I'm thinking that the motors are on their way to being burned out, if they aren't already (it took a minute or two for me to pull of the road the first two times).

My question is this: How do I fix this? I looked for a fuse under the hood with no success, and I don't know where the fuse box is on the inside of the car.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

if youre looking at the car from the front the fuse box is on the far right side almost touching the right strut tower and right fender.

just pull the clip and thatll come off.

Is there a chance it is just the switch? when i bought my evo 8 cupholders the switch was rusted and kind of messed up...?
Thats about all i can say without owning an evo myself.

I wish I could remove the sprayer tank and all that's with it. I never use it.

If it was me, I'd check out the switch but if the switch was OK I'd be worried because it would mean that some kind of mod was messing up the ECU. The ECU is monitoring certain inputs to decide whether it should activate the IC spray. If it is trying to spray inappropriately it must mean one of the ECU inputs is wrong and you would want to figure out what is going on.

Ok, so it happened again this morning on my way into work.

I don't think that the BOV is causing it. I've adjusted the BOV and it seems to be working fine, no stalling. This time it just went off after I had been sitting at a stop light for about 1 min.

I'll check the switch and see if I can see anything grounded or wires bared. If that's not it I need to find the damn fuse to disable it.

As far as ECU inputs go, I do have an S-AFC II. But it's been in there a while and i just recently started having this problem. Wouldn't it have shown up sooner? I don't have many other mods done: intake, cat back, BOV. That's it.

I know where the fuse box under the hood is, I just figured there's got to be another one, and there is. Under the dash on the driver's side behind the change cup. I just don't know which one is for the sprayer.
