speed density: vta vs recirc

I am currently on speed density and my bov is venting to atmosphere. When on speed density, what are the pros/cons of VTA vs recirculating? Can you recirculate the bov on SD?

TIA.

Yes you can recirculate the BOV on SD. I have a customer who does that because VTA is a little loud for him. No draw backs that we can see. Are you asking because of the laws in CA?

I recirc mine on SD also due to local emission laws.

Main reason im asking is cuz the noise is getting a little old, trying to quiet down the beast. Would I need a seperate tune? Would the turbo spool a bit faster?

switching to recirc should have no effect on an SD tune. if the recirc port is aimed at the compressor, it might make a tiny improvement in maintaining turbo rpm between shifts.
