Introducing a New ACD Controller, ACDPro

Hi,

I are very happy and excited to introduce ACDPro Universal Controller an

aftermarket standalone Automatic ACD controller for JDM and USDM Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 7/8/9.
Have you swapped the transmission in your EVO or the stock controller is not responsive enough and need to control the ACD?
This product is specifically designed for swapped transmission cars, and includes everything required for automatic and manual ACD operation, including an advanced hardware and software design of the custom control module in a water resistant enclosure, with a nice adjustment knob for setting the locking force, this system is infinitely adjustable between fully active and inactive levels.

To read more about our ACDPro please go to the following link on our website:

We have a limited time sales promotion to celebrate our product release.

Don't miss it.

Kind regards,
ProACD.com Team

Being local, can I try it out before buying?

Awesome, so I take it you were able to get the pump and pressures figured out?

Does acd heavily bias the rear? I had an sti swap so I know that does but I always read the acd is 50/50 with variable lock .

Interesting:

Fully CCW turns the unit essentially "off" which will heavily bias the rear wheels, full CW gives it full "aggressiveness" maximizing traction and thusly increasing under-steer. In this setting the system will attempt to give you maximum traction at all times by trying to maximize the amount of ACD lock at all times.

Does it mean that Full CCW will give it all to the RWD?

Have you guys done some miles of testing to check that...nothing breaks?

Hi Dallas,

Good to hear from you. Yes we got the pump and pressure sorted out a short while after talking to you on an EVO 7.

Yes the ACD is a different concept. Basically it increases the clamping force that keeps the differential from becoming an open differential. Now when a slippage is detected the pressure is applied to plates that increase that force hence locking the two axles longer to gain stability.
In the literature when we talk about "active" or "lock" it should not be interpreted as distribution of torque rather it should be read as clamping force. Hope this explanation helps.

As I mentioned in the previous post when ACDPro is at minimum setting (manual mode)
the forces applied to clutch plates that control clamping forces are non-existent. The
differential plates are in the resting state as you would have while cursing and there is no issue with wear or need to test at long distances as it is designed and tested by manufacturer for this state of operation.
