Poor cold start, EDM 4G63

My IV has a USDM 260 ecu running an EDM Evo 8 engine. The engine started great the first try, even though it had 2 CEL's for the missing EGR. Once I disabled the EGR in the FAA and FCC periphery, the engine began to have trouble on cold starts.

The engine will maybe fire on 2 cylinders and then just continue cranking.

If I stop cranking exactly when it fires those couple times I can get it to start but it stumbles for 5-10 seconds until RPM raises to idle.

If I let it crank past those 2 little sparks, stop, and then continue cranking it starts perfect without turning 1 revolution; like it had compression, just didn't give fuel or spark.

To summarize: It starts fine but only if I turn the key twice.

Check to see what your fuel pressure is doing. If the pump isn't able to prime the system properly then it would take longer to start the veh.
