Internal vs External Wastegate?

Just looking for more info on pros and cons on internal vs external wastegate

Which one is better and why?

I was thinking on going external, but don't know if it is worth it. My mods are bbk full, cams, etc bolts on a stock engine.

I was taught external wastegate allows for less boost creep which is healthier for the turbo and motor. Plus dump tube=sexxxxx

I love my internal wastegate in my BW EFR 8374. No boost creep at all Less plumbing, less work. You can also get it in divided with internal wastegate. Only major pro with external in my point of view, is that you can dump the exhaust without having to go into the exhaust system. Could maybe give some hp if exhaust system is not up to the task.

the evo is my first internal wg, and it seems to work real well.
i've had externals on my turbo honda before and its nice.

but to answer your question, i dont know how deep your pockets are, but you will need another manifold for the ewg, then buy wg, weld the o2 housing as well.

I don't have boost creep, only thing is to be able to hold the boost I want, it need too big of a spike, so I was wondering if a external setup could eliminate this.

I don't want to change my manifold (toxicfab) but there are o2 housing setup for external gates.

But I guess it's too much money and time, for no big benefits.

Thanks for your replys
