cant get 4th gear in

my release bearing recently snapped(broke). prior to that I had no gear box or clutch issues. all my gears where going in perfectly. 1-5 and reverse. my mechanic took the gear box out changed the clutch release bearing and put it back up. since then my shifter feels tighter and im getting every gear to go in except 4th gear. I didn't get 4th gear all week last week. got it to go in twice this week and as soon as I take it out , cant get 4th gear again until im lucky a few days later then same story.

when I put it in 4th sounds like its wrecking , cant go in. what cud be the problem?

car is a evo5 GSR with changed final drive and 1st gear.

Adjust the pedal engagement height then report back.

put your car on jack stands. and put it in gear and push in the clutch and see if your wheels spin, if they do your clutch is dragging and thats your problem, my car does the same thing.
