Can't select 5th gear, just grinds

Can't select 5th gear, just grinds
Hey all
My 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and reverse gears work without a problem but when I go to shift in to 5th gear and release the clutch, it just grinds and will not select 5th. This happens with spirited driving and also calmly.
Any ideas on what this problem could be?
My car is a 2010 fq360 manual 5 speed.
It is currently at the garage I've took all my cars to (civic type r, s2000) and he will get back to me tomorrow, just wondering if anyone had a similar problem.
