Where can one find a stock motor for 2k?

Car is worth maybe 9k IMO as it sits with a blown motor. My bottom end that I just built cost me $3200 and my block was good I just had too replace crank. Mods in sigh

I'd love for someone to offer me 9K right now. Getting pretty sick of the lowballers!!

did you read the fine print? you need a good core in exchange or they charge you an additional 1500 bucks.

 

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I really wish I had the cash to rebuild the motor but it just isn't there right now. I'm thinking maybe in a year or two I can get some bills paid off and then get back into an Evo. I've though about it a lot and I really hope I can find one like mine with a blown motor that I can pick up for $8-9K that needs nothing else. Put a built motor in it for $5K, and have an awesome street car for about $13-14K.

 

Yes I know. But that is way cheaper than some of these people have been saying. And you can get a block cheaper than 1500 and send it in and put your head on that, install, boost, tune, and drive.
