4G64/4G63 hybrid issue
For those who are using the 4g64 block with 4g63 head, i have read that the outlander water pumps are the way to go but what about those using the evo waterpump with the spacer/adapter kit any one have any problems with the serpentine belt being chewed up due to the water pump pulley edge. I am using the air con delete belt 6PK1445 my only options atm are to try the 5PK belt with one less grove to see if it fixes or remove water pump and take out the spacer. Only other option is to let the pulley modify the belt by cutting into it as its only a tiny margin.
p.s i am using an evo 6 water pump pulley which i think is different to the 8 and 9 as it has lip on the edge where as the 8 and 9 one dont

I thought about that but i think that will cause the belt to walk of the edge with no lip being there. I wonder if every one has this issue but no one notices it. Time to check your belts.
