What pistons/compression to use on 2.4LR 1000whp goal?
1000awhp and 87mm cylinder bores :/
Not to mention higher piston speeds vs a 4g63 long-rod build.
The 4g64 block just doesn't make sense to me for big power.

+1 always call them up, again Brian or even Jeremy too always hook me up no matter what I need. I live in Chicago and theyre in New York. I don't know them personally but just from dealing with them over the phone. Never had a single bad experience ever and I have always gotten better deals then anywhere else. The other places you have been talking to, you might pay a premium getting it there because of the name. I could be wrong but that's how I feel about it.
Im builting same setup but only aiming at 700-750hp on my 2.4 built.
But does anyone know what is the right parts bumber for some 9.0:1 compression piston that i can used both gas pump and on e85 dual map???
I used 9.0:1 manley platinum piston now and it SUCK. I made 546hp/466tq on pump on a mustang dyno at 27 psi with 6266 jb turbo. But the oil start to leak into the cylinder chamber less than 2 months later.
The piston oil rings couldnt hold oil from groing up through the piston, causing the spark plug to foul out. Too much oil in the piston chamber.
Alot of people say wiseco piston are better than manley piston.
Im using manley tt i-beam rods (#MAN 14421-4) now.
Can someone tell me what piston would the recommend for my dual map setup for pump and e85??? Let me know how much, parts #, and where it have the best price!
Im kinda want to stay at 9.1 compression for both gas.
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what exact pistons you need for a 2.4L but here are the standard 1400HD 9:1 Wiseco Pistons.
