Another "what turbo to go with" thread

Looking to be in the 500 to 600whp on e85

Built 2.0 long rod
Gsc s2 with valvetrain goodies
Custom 3" ICP with 3" IC
ToxicFab FF t4 with dual 38mm wg
Custom 3" downpipe
Custom 3" aluminum catback
ID 1000s
Twin Wallys or single 400
Exedy Twin
Grimmspeed ebc

Im leaning more on a pte 6266 but I want some input from the community about boost lag / spool

Some drag, autox, weekend warrior kind of fun

Any input please share

Im pretty sure an fp red will get you there in the 500 with those mods and e85 but some others can chip in more

Im trying to stay away from Forced Performance turbos, budget wise

Why did you choose to go T4 if your goal is 500-600whp? I would say 6262.

I have a 6265 and i made 500 on pump at 28PSI running out of fuel . the 6266 will get you there no problem. ill be looking for close to 550 on pump when i get my car back together and the upgraded injectors with more boost.

you will need larger injectors though. My 1000's were running out around the 500hp range and caused me to have to drop the boost down a little bit. i ended up getting a set of 1200's. On E85 you may want to consider at least 1200+ size injectors

I have a 2.4 so that turbo doesnt have much lag, id think it would be a bit laggier and would make autox not as much fun. but dragracing your good to go.

not sure what your time frame is but pte just announced a V2 6266 at sema thats supposed to spool faster and flow a hair more, not sure when its supposed to be out though

T4 twin scroll. I wanted a good manifold for more power later on
