Evo Head surface ,Porous casting ?

I just had my evo 8 head CBN decked at my local machine shop ,the surface however has pits or casting flaws . I was told it was air pockets in the casting from the manufacture . I haven't been able to find any issues alike on the 4g63 heads though . This machine shop has done work for me previously with no issues ,or issues like this .

Is it just a porous casting ?

Will this cause any sealing issues while using a mls head gasket ?

anyone have this issue before ?

A guy just recently on our local Evo forum has the same issue. Turns out to be the hot tank solvent. Look here: http://www.coloradoevo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7165. Could still have slight peppering. Not uncommon though.
