building a 2.0 engine !! Please HELP !!!

please help !!! i need the people that knows about evo tell me if im doing good or not...

first going to explain the setup

so....i am building my new engine and turbo setup, i already bougth ,journal bearing 6262 .63, turbo trix manifold, PTE 46mm wastegate , i have the complete turbo kit.

for the head, comp cams 280, crower single springs and retainers, aem cam gears, ported intake manifold and throttle!!

pte 1200cc injectors, aem v1, act hd clutch, exhaust...

so im confused about the block... i want to know what comp. ratio can i use to have a reliable engine and good spool... here in my country the pump gas is 89 octane... what i want is to be fast with 20 or 21 PSI of boost (pump gas)

the questions are:

-i have crowers i beam steel rods already (are they good rods ??)

-can i use 9:1 or 9:5 comp ratio ??

-what comp. ratio would be better and what is the beneficts of higher compression??

-porting and polishing the head helps a lot ???

-what other thing you recommend me ??

-can i rev the engine to 8500 without problems with this combination??

hope you guys help me with my confusions because i like to be sure im doing it good...

those rods are fine with the power you will be going to make. I wouldn't go too high of a cp due to only having 89 octane available which may cause your car to knock. you should also be fine revving the car to 8500 with a built valve train.

Go low comp with that gas, will be easier to tune and safer.

High comp are faster off boost but they are harder to tune because it has a shorter safe window to operate in.

TBH man i would just stick with stock comp i think its 8.5:1 I don't have experience in tuning to recommend whats going to be 100% best.

9:1 would be best, since there isn't a lot of tuners that can tune a 9:5 safely, higher the compression less boost you need to make power practically but a better chance in blowing stuff up
