clutch replacement options/opinions/experience

I had my clutch recently burn up and am looking for opinions/ideas for a new clutch. I'm not sure if the current clutch is stock or not, being that I'm not the first owner and not sure exactly what the previous owner had done to the vehicle. Recently I made 420hp/380tq on the dyno and obviously want a clutch that will hold that, but also don't want to be upgrading the clutch when power levels increase another 100hp/tq. Or so. Its a daily driver so I would like stock-like drivability. I was thinking about the quartermaster 8 leg street. Opinions/suggestions experiences people have had with this clutch and others would be appreciated.

I have done many act's and most recently a competion 8 segmented disc... All drive fairly smooth as long as you dont get the extreme pressure plate for the act's... The competition is so far my favorite... As long as you stick to a full faced disc.

I have a qm 8leg twin in my car... HATE IT! Its the most aggressive clutch i have ever delt with to include exedy twin/triples twin carbons and any puck clutch... It barks on engagment everytime. But i will say the pedal is super light compared to every other clutch... The comp holds 500tq and most act's are rated in that range as well... Hope that helps

Thanks for the insight and your opinions. What power levels are u making? When you say "agressive" do you mean grabbing on initial engagement/ chattering.....driveline vibration?

no real vibrations... chatter is normal for a twin... its a light switch... there is no grey area for engagement... people started to use the dsm clutch line reservoir to help but idk if it helps yet...

i'm still mid tuning but at 600 at the moment... its aggressive enough that since installing the clutch 2 years ago i have dragged my car 2 times... i'm afraid the instant shock of the engagement will break something... there truly is no finessing it...
