Mivec Cam gear broken - advice?

Mivec Cam gear broken - advice?
I just started my first timing belt replacement and found this when I took off the old belt: http://imgur.com/vDc4NmB there's a considerable chunk missing from the cam gear. I'm guessing the person who owned the car before me left it like this when they did the timing belt.
Can I just order a new cam sprocket (part# md322223) and install it, or are the other considerations when replacing the cam gear on an evo 9 intake cam? I don't know anything about the mivec parts around the sprocket so I'd be grateful for any advice you guys could lend me if you've dealt with something like this before.

No special considerations! just replace the sprocket and you will be good to go!
