Exedy Triple...Clutch Adjustment Rod ?
Exedy Triple...Clutch Adjustment Rod ?
Hey everyone. Question for you guys with the Exedy Triple. Where do you guys have your adjustment rod at? Mine is all the way out and it still engages off the floor. Car tested on jack stands just to make sure. Just did a rebuild with new floaters, disks, hub, wave spring, tob and pp. new slave, master and new ss clutch line. I also bled the crap out of it. It did engage off the floor before (bought it used with old clutch in it), but I thought it would at least be a little better now. All bolts in trans. and tight. Any help or thoughts would be great.
I just installed a rebuild kit on my triple because it wasn't adjusted right says Exedy. Due to the pedal not being adjusted right it caused my hub and disk to strip out. I would like clarification as well to make sure this does not happen again. I am going to adjust pedal rod all the way out and I am reading if there is not enough play at the top to move the pedal stop back. I am going to leave at least a couple treads left on the rod showing. Input and advice would help just to make sure. Thanks in advance
in case you were still curious I went from the twin to the triple also and had the same problem.i recently had mine back out and the pressure plate surface disk looks like a banked oval at a nascar race lol. I replaced this disk and now the clutch performs great. (the pressure plate disk is not part of the upgrade from twin to triple)
