Hey guys got a evo ix mr with basic bolt ons making 320 hp/300 tq most ill do is upgrade the intercooler no turbo probably no cams. This is purely a daily driver, I never launch the car or anything. Any tried both of these clutches? Looking for something that'll last and easy for daily driving. I'm wondering how they compare, especially pedal feel? I have an exedy hd and got used to it but felt it was a little stiff

Here's why:
1. Fairly stiff pedal - Almost ACT2600 like
2. Very small transition window - ok for DD but tough to take off quickly
I'm looking to get the Comp Stage 2 that English sells, and I'm hoping the above issues disappear

I have used the Exedy before & I really liked it, mainly because the increased clamping power over the oem clutch. The pedal was stiff because it uses the same cover as the stage 2 metal clutch, but that is expected when a clutch is made to handle more power.
A friend of mine had installed a stage 1 disc with an oem cover & it worked fine.
Never used the Comp stage2, is it the same cost as the Exedy? Does handle more loads/power?

Im running the comp stage 2, been daily driving with it and I like it. This one is slightly stiffer than the oem one, but its really not bad at all.
I replaced my Exedy stage 1 with a CC stage 2. The stiff pedal from the Exedy never bothered me, but it couldn't handle a launch at all. So if you plan on just driving the car without being too aggressive, it'll probably be fine. The CC stage 2 has a lighter pedal feel, and seems easier to drive with overall. Haven't launched yet, but it is rated higher than the Exedy so assume it will do better.

Just get a twin disk and be done with it. Aftermarket Single clutches are the worst, let alone trying to DD with one.

Seems like a bit overkill. OP is making only 320hp, hell, an oem clutch would work just fine.

Check out English Racings review on the Comp stage 2 clutch. They have over 400wtq and zero lockout issues. I have the excedy stage 1 and it has lasted 80k miles but it hates launching. I've never ran at the track without having to double clutch it.

I'm looking for a stock replacement too. I would want as close to stock feel as possible. I don't ever launch the car or do road racing. I don't really want to deal with an overly stiff pedal or small/abrupt engagement point. I was looking on Tre's site and they mention "The recommended clutch for the 6 speed should hold no more than 400ft.lbs of torque"
Looking around there is the Competition Clutch Stage 2 (450lb) 80% increase in torque capacity
Clutch Masters FX 200 - Holding capacity 70% over stock
Exedy Organic Stage 1 (Options of WTQ 339 and WTQ 402)
Works CK1
The Clutch Masters FX 200 price is a lot more than the Comp Stage 2. Not sure why the price is so high, even higher than the FX 300.
Works CK1 would be between the Comp Stage 2 and FX 200 in price.

WORKS Clutch Kit CK1:
Ideal for the street-level enthusiast with significant bolt-ons seeking a clutch with stock pedal feel and extra holding power. This setup will NOT increase pedal stiffness, but has a clamping force that is 140% the capacity of the stock unit. Good for up to 350 ft-lbs of torque, but not recommended for drag race applications.
