Any updates on this fitted & how did the car drive? Would this kit be stronger then jacks, etc?

We have added the EVO synchros to our site to make it easier for everyone to place their order. This offer will close in January 2015. Please click this link or use discount code EVOM for 20% off the synchros. You can also use the code for 20% off a Master rebuild kit, LSD or FD set. We have the EVO 4/5/6/7 synchros available but it will be a few weeks before more of the 8/9 synchros are finished. You can go ahead and place the order now and we will ship as soon as more parts are finished. http://www.shop.SYNCHROTECH-TRANSMIS...tm?coupon=EVOM

Strength is totally irrelevant. If you eliminate the soft metal pieces in the transmission, then there is nothing stopping you from running whichever MTF that you so choose (unless I am missing something). However, it looks like the "new" synchros are still brass pieces with carbon material pressed in. Is this true? I thought that the point of the carbon material was that it negated the requirement that the synchros be a soft metal. I must have misunderstood something along the way.

Not logged on for a while, what was the deal for the early interest people?
And is it still being honoured even though I'm slow seeing these now ready?

The synchronizer acts as the brake for the gear. The carbon lining is more aggressive and stops the gear rotation faster than the brass ridges on OEM synchros, reducing shift grind at higher RPM. The type of MTF does affect how the transmission will shift and function. We have had the best results with Torco MTF or RTF.

20% off good through January, then it will be regular price except to dealers.
