After reaching 500 miles on my Shep Trans, I changed the fluid and went out for a drive, I was finally able to get a couple quick shifts in and the trans feels AWESOME! I had a Shep Trans in the car last year too, but this seems to shift smoother with these synchro's in, I can't wait to get to the track!

I've been told oem mitsu diaqueen works great. But I haven't tested it in mine yet.
I used to run 2 quarts of diaqueen, and the rest redline mt-85. I'm planning on trying that on the CF trans as well, the stock trans looked perfect inside. I have read nothing that says these require special/different fluid vs. stock.
If you're going with fresh rebuild make sure to have enough oil for 2 changes. The initial fill up and then after 500 miles. It was night and day better after that 500 mile oil change
You guys want quick shifts? I've included the picture of my modded oem gearset. I'm hoping anyone dragging or even racing these cars needs to look into this. Sorry for the hijack but syncros are old news for guys trying to REALLY drive their cars and I got tired of seeing people spending small fortunes on rebuild only to have the syncros mushroom and then need ANOTHER rebuild.

See picture below and pm me.
Face plated? Also old news, depends on how much "track" car you want in your "street" car.. Unless you have a track car then go this route or dogbox
Made it to the track finally. 2nd pass of the day (1st full pass) and I finally broke the 9 sec barrier. Best pass was a 9.89@148mph. I didnt miss a gear all day. These things rock. Once the heat was in the fluid and clutch it shifts so butter smooth its incredible.
I've been recommending them to everyone I can. Thanks for these Synchrotech, I love them!

Thats awesome! congrats ... can't wait to test mine out!
Have these being put into my Trans as we speak. Anxious to see how they hold up to some real world track abuse and street driving.
They feel pretty normal just driving around. But on the track they felt great. I hit 1000 miles now, 500 of which break in for my trans. The last 500 have been hard miles. Still haven't missed a shift with them
