That happens to me too. I think the ECU is learning to overcompensating for the momentary rich state. For some reason, when coming to a stop sometimes, my car feels like it wants to stall. It never has stalled, but it's come close to it. I bet it could be tuned out with a SAFC (lo-throttle settings) or any other kind of fuel management unit.

Did you install the fuel pump? What all is involved in the install? I have never looked to see where the pump is located. Is it in the tank?

The fuel pump is under the back seat...pull the rear seat, unscrew the lid, and there it is! See www.evomoto.com in the tech area for detailed directions...use patience on this DIY project...

If you disconnected your battery when doing the pump then the ECU reset it self. It will take a few starts to get back to normal.

Oh the comment about the pump running to rich is untrue. The injectors control the fuel going into the motor the Pump just pressurizes them.

Yes, but it's possible to have too much pressure. Just ask all the DSM guys that are running a 255HP Walbro on the stock FPR.

Pump = fuel available.

Injectors = fuel used.

Shouldn't be a problem.

To resolve this problem you need to dissconnect the battery for about 5mins. Then reconnect it and start the car. Let the car idle without touching the gas pedal for about 10 minutes or untill the car is warm. Also you must do this when the motor is cold like in the morning. You ECU should re-learn its idle enrichment, and have no problems idling afterwards.
