Exactly what I meant by finger type.
They work great because you are spinning the filter at the center point and not around the outside which causes you to just be pushing and turning a little with all the force being applied.

Here is another 3 finger wrench at sears.

Wow...I like that wrench. I think I may pick that up from Sears and give this another shot.
