thanks guys, after hearing how overrated crankwalk was (which it is), I really didn't think I had it, I even called some places about getting a rebuilt engine, maybe a 2.4L 4g64 swap, but the guy that builds the engines was amazed that I got crankwalk in an evo 8, really sucks. Gotta go buy a f*cking $995 Saturn to drive today so I can get to work for the next few weeks/months.... Hope I come across a good deal on an engine

 

That sucks man! I knew it sounded like crankwalk, I had the exact same symptoms. I feel your pain, it really sucks when your whole shortblock Is shot. I'll be swapping for a 4G64, you should do the same!
