So today I fund out that I need a new turbo and I was wondering if I should replace it with an oem one or get an aftermarket one for cheaper but can still handle the same power if not more.

This is your time to upgrade but it all depends on what you plan to do as well as the most important question. What is your budget for parts, labor and tune, if needed???

 

I'm on some what of a budget looking to spend about 1k for turbo alone

 

look in the for sale section RIGHT NOW there is an FP Green that can be had for cheap comes with all of the lines u need and everything

 

I have an EF3 I can sell you. 3k maybe 4k miles Im just looking to go with a different set up

 

Some turbos you might like to look into are the fp green, fp white, map ef2 or ef2.5, or an evo 9 turbo. These might be great options for you and all upgrades from the stock 8 turbo and still stock frame.

 

or buy a used Evo 8 turbo to slap on. I doubt they'd be much more than $300
