Holset Turbos
Holset Turbos
Hi, I just found out about Holset turbos and i understand it's cheap and very popular in the DSM scene during the time of the posts that i've read or googled.
I'm from Singapore and luckily for me, I have a Distributor here.
I am looking for a HX40 to fit onto my Evo. Was wondering do I need to look out for anything like any special part number etc?
And also if there is anyone here that has a used set to let go? Holsets are rarely used in Singapore!

Thanks in advance, peeps.

You can get a BullseyePower .70a/r housing for the hx-40 to bolt up to any T3 manifold. You can also use the stock twin-scroll housing with a T4 manifold which is what I was going to do. When buying one make sure it is a genuine Holset turbo. There are many knock-offs out there. You can buy a 7-blade or an 8-blade as well and they have their differences. Oiling is properly needed with this diesel turbo as well. I'm in the process of purchasing one myself but might go with a Borg Warner instead.
