Timing belt issue

I have been experiencing an issue with my timing belt tightening up after a few minutes of it running. I tried replacing the tensioner pulley and that did not help. I have a BLE solid tensioner but I have had it for over a year and never had this problem. I am lost for ideas on what to try or change out next.

Any ideas/suggestions? please let me know if you have any at all, I am completely lost as to what it could be. Thank you!

What's a BLE Solid tensioner? Got picture?
*edit*
Wait, did you replace stock hydraulic unit with a solid timing belt tensioner?

Yes I replaced the hydraulic with a solid but never had any problems. I might try going back to the hydraulic tensioner and see if that helps.

Just would like to know the purpose of the change over. Is the car being raced or something as with a solid tensioner I would expect extra tension on the belt as it will never adjust to make up for belt stretching.

ALL/ANY belt stretch!
Solid tensioner is fine if you plan to run your engine only at a certain operating temp for a certain amount of time. You adjust the tensioner then and only then.
It’s a giant pain the behind for a street car.

Good question. I could only see it on a dedicated track car.

if I were you I would switch back to the hydraulic tensioner unless it is a strick 1/4 mile car, shut car down, run 1/4 mile, shut car down etc.
