Here is how it all started on the way home from work i heard an loud poping sounds coming from the driver-side, thought that I ran over an Soda-can or plastic bottle but saw nothing on the road. So I pull over look under the car, saw no problem, leaks, or anything unsual going on. Hop back into the car in drove off, but I notices that going from 3rd to 4th gears feel an little loose when shifting compared to the rest of the gears. So for the pass days I been having an 4th gear pop out issuse when the engine is cold or hot bewteen 3200-4000rpm around 40-55mph.
Other then that car never had an clutch or transmission problem before until that recent loud poping sounds. Informantion on the car is an 05 evo with an new Act-6punk sprungs springs with Act monolock, Act street flywheel, has less then 1500miles on the new clutch. Anyhelp would be nice ?

 

Loud pop while you were driving and suddenly 4th gear decides to come loose...
Did you check your shifter cables? Sounds like you popped the underhood shifter bushings.

 

Yeah after the loud popping sound 4th gear feels loose when shifting , also haven't got the chance to look at it yet but sure we'll check it out today after work .

 

Pull drain plug and look for metal chunks. If none... reuse fluid and sleep well.
