Using LS style v-8 coils on EVO 8/9. Will it work?

You can utilize Honda coils from the civic or k series engines just fine. Can be had on ebay for about 40-50 a set.
There are revised versions now that are much better. I have used them on many cars and not one have failed... Do you use the latest version oem coils? What dwell?

Btw recently I was helping a guy to fire his Supra with a 2JZ with 6 LS1 coils, and 2 of them was not working... We put in 6 vw coils in it I love those coils
