Add another to the scoreboard... check engine light came on a couple weeks ago, but I didn't really notice much difference in performance. Finally found someone with a scanner and pulled 2 p0401 codes. Got on here tonight and went out with a flashlight about 30 seconds and the vac hose from the egr was staring me in the face. It was kind of frustrating, but an easy fix thanks to the evo bible (EVOM)

Kinda makes me feel dumb, knowing how much of a simple fix it was to connect the hose back! lol

Yeah, burning yourself usually does the trick The job is blessed with success once it mames you or draws blood.

lets see if you guys can solve this one lol threw same code replace valve ran great for a week went into bodyshop for some work and got it back yesturday and threw the same code as well as 02 sensor, crankshaft sensor and some other pending codes...lol i got a ams dp installed but thats what i had on before so im stumped. i checked the vaccum lines on the egr valve cant find where they end but gave them a lil tug and they seemed tight so i just pulled the batt cables and made the code go away for now....any thoughts? ps i love you guys in advance

Are you certain none of those codes weren't still in memory from a previous instance? The crank sensor code doesn't fit at all if you ask me.
