How do you expect us to pay 2500.00 for a Garrett turbo? LOL

I saw the FB pics. Identical to a GTX turbo.
You seem to be a little bit confused about what we are offering. We do offer an out of the box Garrett GTX unit with a stainless steel v-band Turbine Housing but not at the 2k you are saying. The Garrett Unit you are referring to on our website and facebook page is actually priced at $1580 and comes with the Stainless Steel V-band Clamp Kit.

Sorry for the confusion, we are trying to get everything on the website as fast as we can, and we will do a better job explaining things.

This post was started just to show the Billet Compressor cover, and by no means cover the extent of what we offer.

Any more questions? and sorry I have not been able to get back to you quicker, been quite busy trying to get some more website code finished!

Ben

I know in the past, Custom Billet and affordable have never gone together in the same sentence. As an Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing company that has the love and passion for Turbochargers, we have the ability to change that. And we are changing that.

Since I happen to know a lot of guys who race in the 10.5 outlaw and extreme world, can you please tell me ONE PERSON who is running one of your $12k turbos?

The vast majority of them run Precision, Garret, and even Bullseye Power. A good friend off mine just dynoed his Bullseye twin 94mm turboed, 565ci, Big Chief headed, promod car. It pegged the dyno at over 3500hp on very moderate boost.

Guess what? Those billet wheeled Bullseye turbos cost $3500.00 a piece.

Precisions high end turbochargers are in the $7500 range btw.....

3500hp is good with the 94mm units.... I made 3800hp @ 25 psi with Kenny D years ago on the same units when I still owned part of Bullseye. ( I was the turbo guy for BEP)

I left back in 09....

There is a big difference between what we offer for 12k and what others offer.

The 3k units offered like that are Borg Warner based parts that are cast and very heavy like 76 pounds for the 94mm units. Our units are made from billet not cast and are designed around each customers chassis, engines and made to be very light. We also have lots of options to choose from like a recirculation valve made into the cover, a place already cut for a speed sensor, surface texturing to increase air flow around the volute as the air leaves the exducer of the wheel, variable geometry turbine housings made from stainless and computer controlled so no wastegate needed. We also are able to quickly change our turbocharger parts to adapt and take advantage of new turbocharger technology like better performing compressor wheels. We have found that dealing with a casting has lots of design limitations.

We have not done any of our 12K Turbochargers for the 10.5 crowd. Yet. We are currently working on a new build for the pro extreme style class, Where weight and power are the main concerns. Considering the investment for this type of Turbocharger set up and Engineering, we do not sell many of these. Especially considering we just made this service available. As far as names of teams, they like to keep that kind of stuff quiet. They would not appreciate us releasing their names.

This is a picture of some of our new technology we are working.
Surface finish technology or (SFT)
MIR designs into its products performance enhancing grooves called SFT. These grooves act the same as dimples on a golf *****. Using SFT patterns allows us to make higher flowing and more efficient housings. Here is how it works….. on a smooth surface the air is slowed down by all the surface contact and moves much less efficient and hotter. On an air flow surface using our SFT design the air at the surface forms small "ball bearings" for the rest of the air to ride on making it move much faster and more efficient with less temp.

You also see these types of patterns and designs in performance billet wheels made today.

I would sure hope not!
This is just another of the services we offer. We are not a Billet only Turbocharger company.
That is a misconception I believe a lot of people on here have about us.
The billet is just something that we wanted to share with you guys seeing as its not seen much.

The 94mm units we offer, depending on options, weigh roughly 52-56 pounds. Our stainless Vband turbine housings and aluminum back plates help keep them from getting too heavy.

Those billet covers look really nice by the way!
