We are currently talking to ETS as well, so hopefully we can get a few different shops to try them out.

 

ETS usually runs all their stuff through english racing when they test it along with GSC.

They usually work very well together and make good stuff happen.

Mission accomplished After talking with Dan for about an hour yesterday morning I can tell we have a very valuable asset that is coming to the community. Not just paper smart but he has plenty of real race experience and an entire engineering company to stand with him. There are far more possibilites than just turbochargers (obviously important) that MIR will be able to bring to the table. It is going to be very exciting

While we are separate companies, we have the same purpose and are 6 miles away from each other. The working relationship goes back for quite awhile as well. In regards to this testing, since ETS doesnt tune their cars, we'll have it on our Dynojet where we can compare information gathered over the last 10 years of turbo testing in the real world.

 

In for results for sure I'm all about different. I'm about to be in the market for a new turbo and wouldn't mind seeing a new choice to choose from

Here is a completed Billet Cover system. Note the diffuser which is a separate component that can be removed and changed in order to suit larger or smaller compressor wheels. Enjoy!

These billet CNC covers allow us extract more airflow from current compressor wheel designs versus using a cast cover like everyone else.

 

If it's machined why Do i see welds?

 

I think that bead-like appearance is from chatter when the tools cut that feature. I think.

 

Yes, that is the look that the ball nose end mill leaves.

We are finishing up a 6466 turbo now for English Racing.
