"On An Air Flow Surface Using Our SFT Design, The Air At The Surface Forms Small “Ball Bearings” For The Rest Of The Air To Ride On Making It Move Much Faster"

Any testing done on this yet? I'm curious how those small "air ball-bearings" are working out? I definitely need some air ball-bearings in my turbo right now, so I hope this is finished soon.

Sounds like it could work in theory. Golf ***** are dimpled for a reason...

Golf ***** are dimpled to cause turbulence so the airflow boundary layer is smaller on the back of the ball in the wake, reducing the negative pressure area behind the ball. You are trading a little extra frictional drag for a lot less pressure drag. Not at all similar to the flow you are after in a compressor housing.

Fundamentals of Fluid dynamics...pipe flow systems. The smoother the surfaces, the lower the pressure drop.

This is more of your marketing hype, just the next chapter to your "full billet turbo" a couple pages back. "Small Air Ball Bearings"? Seriously? What the picture shows are machining stepover patterns...since I've got those on many machined surfaces, where are all my "small air ball bearings"? Do you think that maybe they were so small and slippery that they rolled out of the box? LMAO...

I am sure that they will share the results with you guys once everything is done.
Has English Racing received one of these turbos yet that produce special air ball-bearings? We are all anxiously awaiting the results. I need my turbo to spit out some air ball-bearings right now.

What are you talking about? I'm in for results with you! We all need this to work because once those air ball-bearings start rolling out the end of my turbo I'm finally gonna start making some power. I can't wait for the results! Its disappointing they haven't gotten this new technology to John Bradley and Co. for testing....

Any vendor that comes on here should know this site goes hard. I have never been part of a car community full of people that read compressor maps, velocity diagrams and hypothesize the way some of the guys on here do.

And thats just the customers/regular guys on here. Not even some of the more knowledgeable shops/tuners on here that know these cars inside out.

If you want to sell something on here that's new and so called revolutionary this site will make sure that it works before you start selling vaporware, this site will torture test you and your idea.

No communication with said reputable shop even if things get delayed like they always do.

I hope they are for real. I dont want to file this under Extreme-Tooners (our Greek friends).

I have to say, this site is by far the toughest crowd of any forum I've been a part of...and I like it. Keeps you on your toes. Makes you work for it.

Exactly. You can't just post claims out in the public sphere like "air ball-bearings" without some proof of your ridiculous claim. And trust me, this is a ridiculous claim. I'm all for innovation and parts that make our cars better and faster. But don't try to come in blowing smoke up everyone's azzes and expect people to sit back and not call you on your tomfoolery.

Any vendor on here should use the first Extreme Tuners blow out as a cautionary tale.
