Good. Lots of folks on BITOG and on here (including me) are using it and happy with the results.

It's also available almost everywhere, cheap, and currently has a rebate at Advance.

Can anyone address the issue I see with the shifter? He said his short shifter is a Buschar Short Shifter with the bushing kit. He's had it like that for 50k miles and agrees with me that it sits slightly to the right and not straight center like OEM.

Also the AMSOIL he's been using is 10w30 signature series not Zrod.. any cause of concern there?

EDIT. I attached a picture of how the shifter sits. I know this is a RHD car but you see how it sits to the left away from the driver instead of dead center? That is the way his is sitting but on a LHD car. (tilted to the right away from the driver)

No one is going to know until you pull it apart and look at it

First of all, this belief is 100% false, so be advised.

Secondly, the 4G63 isn't particularly sensitive to ZDDP content, although some journal bearing turbos (e.g. FP Red and Black) are.

That being said, if one is going to use a Mobil 1 product in his EVO, the 0w-40 is a good choice. Another good choice that is often stocked at Advance Auto is the Mobil 1 4T (motorcycle) racing oil, which contains a detergent package suitable for automotive use.

^^^^ Good advice there I've been using mobil 1 0w40 for quite some time now, it is a very
good oil. I am currently at 102,000 miles and do not add any oil between changes (350 whp)
