JDM EVO7 swapped USDM EVO8
Long story short, I need a complete drivetrain for my 2003 Evo8. I found a great deal on a local JDM Evo7 swap (complete long block, tranny, tcase, ecu, etc)
Is there any complications I should consider? My understanding is that I'll need a usdm wiring harness for LHD, and the ecu may give me problems during emissions inspections. Anything else?
Will my stock (8) rear diff work with the (7) transmission?
Thanks for any help guys! And before you guys smack me for not getting an 8/9 swap... This is very available and very affordable, and will meet my needs! *I hope*

How so? The only LHD/rhd difference would be the engine harness?
I have a LHD Evo 8 in need of a drivetrain, and found a rhd Evo 7 drivetrain cheap. I'm trying to see what issues would actually arise.

Can you point me in the directions of these discussions?
I can get a complete 7 drivetrain for a few thousand less than an 8. What I'm really curious about is shat Hassel am I not anticipating??
