how were you able to clean out the shavings from inside the baffles without removing them?

I received my valve cover back from Justin at Detective, he pulls the baffles and rivets them back into place when complete.

how can you rivet the baffles? do you mean he makes threads on them and installs screws like some people do on here?

They are rivetted in place from the factory, drill them out, remove baffles, replace baffles, place new rivets. Riveting is easy.

yes but since these valve covers are made out of magnesium I thought it wouldn't be that simple...how much did it cost you, what all did they do (install fittings, remove/replace baffles etc) and are they still doing it?

Removed baffles, installed -10AN fittings on the transmission side, powder coated custom color, reinstalled baffles, sent to me.

Prices were incredibly reasonable especially with a core charge. Detective coating; speaking of which, I need to send my core back.
