Opinions on valvesprings GSC or Kiggly...

I have S3's on an EF3 and was looking into getting the GSC beehives (not the singles) with Ti retainers, but have also heard kigglys were good. Thanks in advance.

They are both good. I run the GSC 5041 with R2s and all good here.

I have GSC 5041's, and they work well. Kiggly's are an excellent product as well.

Two great companies that both manufacture great parts. Can't go wrong with either one.

They are overkill if you don't spin it over 10K RPM.

They may be overkill, but I know they'll always be within their working range with whatever I have to do. If you're gonna spend $350+ on valvesprings, do it once and be done..

I wouldn't call them overkill at all, I would call them piece of mind

GSC S2s with GSC Beehives and Ti Ret.

true that. I've seen a few guys pop motors when valves float because they grabbed second instead of fourth when "upshifting" from third...

I've seen valve float on S2s at just below 8000 rpm.

Go with Kiggly, his products are great quality and he is a true enthusiast that shares a lot of information with the community (just look at his thread with the cylinder pressure traces).

Quick question, I noticed that some of these valve springs had a MAX boost recommendation?
Any info on that? Huge difference between GSC's valve springs and cam combos.

Yes. With that spring, the max RPM is 8200, with a max boost at 8200 of 25psi, with a GSC S2 camshaft.
