My cams have just started making a ticking sound. It doesn't do it at idle. It seem sto do it around the 1200-4000 rpm. It may be doing it at higher rpms but I can't hear it.

Does any one have the valve adjustment specs? I want to check just to make sure the valves are all in spec.

Me thinks its just liek a 2G with lifter tick, oil starvation at low RPMS, but low friction, once the RPMS rise, the tick stops.
Mines starting to have the same tick tick sound the other day at idle. It sounds like the normal tick tick or valve sound that honda cars has. I thought it was normal since the car was cold and the cam/valves must be expanding.

I am forever thinking I am hearing things like a very faint clicking. Then I turn off the fan, or the AC and I don't hear it, then I do again. I think I'm just paranoid.
