I figured this would happen. They needed to meet FIC in the mid range of injector sizing (1650ish)...

Should be good, it's been being developed and tested for some time now. I know the owner of ID as well as race with him and a few other guys who work there. Would be nice to see how they perform

I have the FIC 1120cc low-z on my IX right now, wanna sell them for the ID1700's. And I'll probably pick up a set of ID1000 for my Evo X as I pretty much maxed out my stock injectors.

I have been running the FIC 1650's since they hit the market. I am super happy with them. They fill that space between 1100cc and 2200cc. You can bump your BFP if you need them flow more. They are awesome for starts and idle. Easy to dial in. I cleared 700whp at 83%DC on them. I did bump my BFP . So for anyone looking in the 500-800whp on E85 these are perfect.

I've got a set of the ID1300's and on the stock ecu they were within 2%-4% on fuel trims. Started well and ran pretty clean once the scaling was figured out. The ID1700 should be just as good since its a true motorsport injector designed by ID/Bosch.
I'm currently at 85% duty cycle ( on AEM infinity now/E85) and 512whp on my 1300's . Once the new engine (10:1 2.1) goes in I will most likely upgrade the injectors as well. They are expensive but well worth it IMO.

I thinkthese will be similar to the FIC 1650 Hi-Z's. I'm running those with trims <2% with a tune from Aaron at English Racing.

i use to run $2000cc injectors and i hated them. The car would not idle well and ran like crap on pump gas. I replaced them with the fic hi z 1650cc injectors and they are amazing. I would think these new id1700cc injectors are the same as the fic 1650cc hi z injectors.

Its a known fact that the ID2000/1700 do not work well when used on pump gas. If you were on the stock ecu it wasn't meant to operate such large injectors either. We all want to make huge power but there is a tradeoff with everything. With E85 being available in a lot of places it makes sense why they developed the injectors for use with it over gas.
Think about how far things have come in ten years. You can buy inexpensive parts and make just about whatever power you want and get ethanol for next to nothing . Ten years ago , it was buy a $$$ motec and pay for a calibration and injectors that still didn't idle well. AND you couldn't make the power you could today with most cars.

ID1300 and ID1700 are not the same as FIC anything. ID has developed these injectors with Bosch to use in high HP applications.. Its not just a Bosch injector that has the tip modified like everything else out there. I personally like to use well engineered parts on my builds. There are also quite a few of the top teams/tuners using ID.

These also flow more than the FIC 1650's. The data sheet I got with my FIC's said they flowed ~1560cc at 3bar.

I'm very happy with my FIC's. Aaron said they were very easy to tune. And my car idles very well with an open loop idle at 13.5-14:1 AFR..
