Rear main seal leaking

So I got quoted $680 to do the rear main seal job. I was wondering what other maintenance/mods I can do since the tranny is coming out? I already have the clutch and flywheel replaced. Bummed I'm taking a $680 hit for this but I might as well take care of other things. Thanks guys

Make sure to use an OEM throwout bearing. SInce you have to bleed the clutch anyways, get a stainless braided clutch line to go from the master to the slave cylinder. You could do a polyurethane front motor (roll stopper) mount, and replace the shifter linkage bushings at the trans with delrin or aluminums that are available from several shops.

That's a pretty good list I think short of getting the trans gone through...lol

Thanks man, I thought of even getting the tranny rebuilt by jacks. I'm still trying to get all my eggs in the basket before I pull the trigger on what I want to get done. Thanks for your suggestions.

Unless you're going for big power, you just need the standard rebuild, with maybe the Evo 9 1st and 5th gear. Keep the stock final drive unless you're building a stroker motor with a decent sized turbo that will make a lot of torque (500+)..
