i use an OEM radiator, so i have plenty of room. just swapped WGAs the other day, in fact.

In case you weren't aware, FP now has HTZ aero on the Green...it's now a 57# a minute turbo. Red was bumped up to 61#. Black is now 71#

FP's smallest stock frame turbo vs their largest. That should actually be an easy decision.

I don't really want to derail this thread much but since I'm happy around 400-450whp, I'm wondering how much more midrange and transient response I would gain moving from the older JB Green, to the 71hta.

I'm currently at 400whp and 370wtq on the green @ 28psi tapering to 24psi on 93, but do have E85 available.

You may want to wait for the 71HTZ. You know it's coming

My theory is to pick the smallest turbo I can to reach my goal, IMO. A 71 on e85 would be suitable for you.
Not sure if it would be worth the swap, though. I've never used a green.

Well I still have my original IX turbo with low miles, my intent would be to buy the chra and reuse the exhaust housing....if all is well, I could sell my green I guess

Do we know if the HTZ wheels only increase top end or spool as well?
