Hey guys, i need some help with my boost.... right now what i have on my evo, is an exhuast+Dp+an Intake& a boost controller. i am pushing a bit over 1.3 bar right now, but i just wanted to know if its still safe to raise my boost a bit more!! i'd greatly appreciate ur help guyz.

 

You can go a little over 1.3 bar, 1.4 or 1.45 is a good place to stop though. 1.4 = 20.3 psi and 1.45 = 21.025 psi.

On pump gas I think 20psi should be where ya stop, without a little tuning anyways.

You might look at a reflash from one of the vendors on the sight. They are not much more money and they allow more boost because of better fuel and timing management.

 

Also, what gas do you have where you live? With 93 or 94 octane you can run more boost than you can with 91.

 

Ya, i guess i should flash my ECU, i am thinking of flashing it at Dynoflash down at pruven...

our pump gas here is 93.

you won't regret it, especially a custom tune
